En parlant de Remote, la première que je les ai vu au Rex, j’étais super déçu, je voyais 2 gars jouaient avec leur ordinateur, limite il se faisaient chier à appuyer sur le on/off des pistes de leur Ableton LIVE :-(
HEUREUSEMENT, et fort heureusement que ce soir là, il y’avait Danton Eeprom. Mais bon au niveau prod, Remote assure quand même un petit peu ;-)
et puis merci pour Ivan même si les 9 premieres minutes du set sont moles :-P

Un live de danton c’est un truc assez visqueux et obscur qui te tapisse le crane, des peaks bien druggy comme ils disent et une voix filtrée lancinante!

Sinon, je viens d’écouter l’album de Remote, c’est pas mal du tout, à découvrir pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas !
UN titre à découvrir aussi, c’est le prochain Connaisseur Recordings, de Chymera ” Caprica Burning “, c’est beau, le matin ça me fait du bien (on peut l’écouter sur le Myspace de Connaisseur Rec), voilà fallait que je partage ça ;-)

Has anybody the tracklisting of this wonderful set ? especially the 20 first minutes (or so) and the next-to-last track with groovy acid loops – sounding a bit like Roman Flügel as Soylent Green – which starts @ 51:00 approx. and lasts until 59:00

quelqu’un a-t’il la moindre idée du tracklisting de ce merveilleux set ? en particulier les 20 premières minutes (environ) et l’avant dernier track, avec les boucles acides ultra groovy – track qui sonne comme du Roman Flügel sous son pseudo Soylent Green-, track qui commence à peu près à la minute 51:00 et finit grosso modo à la minute 59:00.

Comment ça me fait plaisir de pouvoir ecouter un nouveau set de ivan , son dernier album j’ai pas été fan. ducoup je tourne sur ces productions Black strobe (celui enregistré pendant Essential mix) et le Fabric 23 .
J’adore ce style d’electro , lent pénétrant et tres mécanique, les ptis sons perchés par moment donnent un coté vraiment original. C’est pausé mais ça a pourtant de l’energie .
Enfin bon en tout cas merci pour le partage de ce mix . D’ailleur ou l’avez vous trouvé ?

je sais pas si tu es le vrai ivan smagghe ou pas et c’est pas très grave. j’ai qd même le droit de dire que j’aime bien ce qu’il fait et que la musique qu’il joue est à ce jour pour moi une des meilleures qui puisse se trouver.
après, pas la peine de jouer au sociopathe, on sait que t’es major de promo à sciences po’ : so what ? tu n’es qu’un humain comme moi; surement plus intelligent parce que je n’ai aucun courage pour lire un livre par jour mais là tu devrais relire un peu de montaigne.
et en français correct on écrit “ça va tu t’en remets” avec un ’s’ merci. on se demande comment tu as pu rentrer à science po’… bien la peine d’être fils de médecin et de psychanalyste pour écrire avec une syntaxe aussi déplorable. et, d’ailleurs, je croyais que tu vivais coupé du monde, que tu fréquentais pas les réseaux sociaux et compagnie…
à moins qu’il ne s’agisse d’humour, auquel cas je n’ai pas capté le truc et, oui, je m’en remets. et merci de ton intérêt alors.

glad to see that we have NAMES NAMES NAMES here, interested in that very own French site… Matt E. – post # 37, Richie H. – post # 57 (HUSH-HUSH !). do you miss Bournemouth btw ? (stop me if I’m going wrong way, that’s your native town isn’t it – hé hé, I read the liner notes in ‘Mixmag Live !’ – Plastikman)
oki: which tracklistings ? as you can see, there are MANY different sets – hence the several links – which one(s) ?
first set tracklisting is almost complete, with the exception of four tracks.
second set: 2 tracks out of 9 are identified (UNKLE ‘Burn My Shadow’ Audiofly (X) Rmx + Alter Ego ‘Baby Kraut’).
as for the third set, with Tim Paris, which consists in great acoustic indie pop tracks, NONE track is deciphered, so GO ON and GET A MOVE ON BOYS & GIRLS ! for all three sets please !!!

c’est flatteur quand même. d’autant plus que, toi, contrairement à nous, tu dois les connaître perso. alors te vexe pas.
c’est différent l’admiration – aimer et vouloir connaître – de l’attitude ‘fan’ – = fanatique, l’exemple typique étant le ‘fan’ de mylèèèèène, qui relève de la pathologie en général. on n’est pas chez séverine ferrer ‘fan de’, non mais des fois. ;-)

hey guys, could you please stop the nonsense ? to ^# 75 in particular. too easy to fill a form with somebody else’s name, filling up the website field with the adequate link and getting away with it. ludicrous and unfair.
call me naive, maybe i am.
maybe neither ivan smagghe replied – comment # 46 – nor radio slave – comment # 37 – nor richie hawtin – comment # 57 -. so why would derrick may – comment # 75 – perfect stranger to me, except through his music, would fall madly in love w./ me ? nonsense, merely PURE NONSENSE. if they did, that’s cool, if not, the cheats are really silly, and their humour is very corny, well, if they have any.
furthermore, we’re getting away from the topic, i.e. deciphering and completing three tracklistings of three very good and qualitative dj-sets. so please let’s stop the nonsense.
